STARTER SETS

There are on the market lots of drums of doubtful origin, which are made down to a price. Often the drum shells are not properly finished, or even round! Sometimes the hardware is not strong enough to be up to the job. Usually, the kit is incomplete, and you have to ad a drummer's throne (seat) or cymbals. We won't stock these sub-standard drum sets.

For nearly four years now, we have sold just one starter kit from the wide choice available. This is the CB Percussion five piece set. It has a 22" kick drum, 12" and 13" hanging toms, a 16" floor tom and a matching wood snare drum.

The hardware is sturdy, and comprises a snare drum stand, hi hat stand, straight cymbal stand, a chain drive kick drum pedal, AND a drummer's throne. Then complete the set up with a crash cymbal a pair of hi hat cymbals, and a pair of drumsticks, and you have the very best value starter set on the market today.

We now also stock the Orbitone starter set. This has much the same set up as the CB set, and is all complete. The plus point here is that the pedals and stands are made to be "gig-ready" - very heavy duty, and nearly as substantial as the hardware with sets twice the price. Yet the set is still only Can$585, complete with stool and cymbals. It is available in red, blue and black. Just the right set for a beginner with gigs to do!
